In basic Medishield or Integrated Shield Plans, you will find 2 terms: "Deductible" and "Co-Insurance". What do they mean?

Option 1 - Deductible: On top of paying the Co-Insurance, the percentage of the remaining medical bill you need to pay out-of-pocket. Co-Insurance: The fixed amount you need to pay out-of-pocket before your policy claim monies will be paid to you.

Option 2 - Deductible: The fixed amount you need to pay out-of-pocket before your policy claim monies will be paid to you. Co-Insurance: On top of paying the Deductible, the percentage of the remaining medical bill you need to pay out-of-pocket.
